  • April 11, 2009 - Bake Sale (location to be announced)
  • May 2, 2009 - Opening Day - The museum will be open to the public:                   Saturdays (11AM - 2PM) and Sundays (1PM - 4PM)
  • May 9, 2009 - Bake Sale
  • May 16, 2009 - Alumni Banquet Day
  • May 17, 2009 - "Are You Smarter Than a Third Grader" competition
  • June 14, 2009 - Discussion group, "Entertainment From Hope's Past"
  • June 20, 2009 - Hope Summer Garden Tour
  • July 26, 2009 - Discussion group - "Family Evenings in Hope, Before TV"
  • September 26-27, 2009 - The museum will be open to the public Saturday and Sunday during the annual Hope Heritage Days celebration. Stop by the soda fountain at the museum and enjoy an old fashioned ice cream float.
  • October 2009 - The museum will hold its annual dinner meeting.
  • November 2009 - Veterans Day Luncheon
  • November 2009 - WWIIDinner/Program at Strawberry Fields Tea Room
  • December 2009 - Christmas on the Square.  The museum - decorated in its finest - will be open and hosting the annual Bake Sale and cookie decorating for children. The local merchants will be open that evening as people stroll around the town square enjoying the Christmas decorations and shopping. Santa will be available to speak with children, and the museum will be offering carriage rides around town for a price. There will be strolling carolers and lots of people to see.
  • December 2009 - The sixth annual Hope Christmas Homes Tour - sponsored by the Yellow Trail Museum. There will be beautifully decorated homes in the area open for visitors that evening. The museum will be open for ticket sales and for refreshments and resting. Tickets are $8.00 in advance or $10.00 the night of the tour. Tickets will go on sale at the museum and at Strawberry Fields Mercantile in November up until the night of the tour. For more information, call (812) 546-4877.
